Open Sessions:
DANCE SKILL MANAGEMENT
During the skills implementation training sessions, teams will learn tricks that match the ability and genre of the team's choosing. We put the skills that they work on at camp to use in their camp routines and teach them how to apply skills to future routines they may perform. These classes will center on utilizing and building team skills to perform as a unified group. Choose the sessions that would benefit and pertain to the needs of your squad
Jumps/Leaps/Turns : 1 on 1 critiquing on form, placement, and group work
Dance Technique : Work on correct form for jazz/contemporary as a team
Pom/Military Motion Technique: Learn a 17 motion drill set to music
Lifts: This session focuses on safely teaching basic lifts, stunts, dismounts and body awareness for both the bases and flyers.
Hip Hop Tricks: Learn floor work, acrobatic style tricks and partner work.
8 COUNT SPIRIT DANCE
Learn a short 6 eight count pom-style dance that you can perform to band music or use our customized mix (1 hour min)
HIP HOP
Our Hip Hop routines use the latest mixes and choreography that appeals to your student section and is appropriate to perform for all audiences. Choose from several routines based on the style, difficulty and song preferences for your team. (2 Hours)
POM
High energy routines that incorporate tricks that are customized to your squad's abilities. Choose the routine that is right for your team, based on the style, difficulty and song preferences for your team. (2 Hours)
FUNK
These creative routines are geared to be high energy and fun. We incorporate tricks that are customized to your squad's abilities. Choose the routine that is right for your team, based on the style, difficulty and song preferences for your team. (2 Hours)
KICK
Themed routines that highlight the strengths and flexibility of your team. Our kick routines use a mix of kick and jazz skills. Choose the routine that is right for your team, based on the style, difficulty and song preferences for your team. (2 Hours)
TEAM BONDING
This session uses games, competition and reflection to help a squad to realize their individual and team goals while focusing on how to become a stronger team unit.
INDIVIDUAL COMPETITIONS
Members of your squad will can compete and show off their turns, jumps, flexibility, and sharp motions for awards!
GROUP EVALUATION
Depending on the material chosen, the instructors will judge your squad on their team performance and award ribbons! Choose any dance that you learned at camp!
